Native Marine Collagen Protein (Non-Hydrolyzed, Cold-Processed)

3F Pharma’s marine collagen protein is produced via controlled acid hydrolysis to preserve structural collagen characteristics.

Our native marine collagen protein is non-hydrolyzed and processed under controlled cold conditions. No enzymatic hydrolysis or thermal processing is applied. This processing approach is intended to preserve the native macromolecular structure of collagen.

The native collagen protein is supplied as a raw material and is suitable for use in biomaterial and medical research applications, including wound care matrices, dermal repair systems, and scaffold-based systems where intact collagen structure and material integrity are required.

It is primarily used in dermal matrices, wound dressing materials, and scaffold backbones where mechanical continuity and handling are prioritized.

Key material characteristics

  • >96% purity
  • Atlantic cod: ~100–800 kDa
  • Nile tilapia: ~100–650 kDa
  • Odourless, colourless, tasteless
  • Proven bench-scale production protocol delivers >0.5kg dry protein per batch run; commercial-scale protocol finalized Q4 2026

Primary applications

  • Wound dressings, films, foams, and fibrous matrices
  • Skin graft substrates and structural dermal layers
  • Scaffold backbones and reinforcement components
